For 25 years I served as a member of the Winnipeg Police Service, retiring in 2005 as a Detective Sergeant. I tried to make every day working there as much fun as possible for myself, as well as for the wonderful people that I worked with and for! At the same time I thoroughly enjoyed being able to assist people with all of their problems, and loved solving crimes and getting the bad guys!
During this time I also enjoyed playing hockey, and coaching my kids in baseball and hockey. My hobby has always been home renovation projects, usually rebuilding the entire home. The experience I gained from these projects has been immeasurable, and I was happy to use this knowledge in renovating my daughter’s home and my own.
Upon my retirement, I started up Main Branch Tree Service, a successful business now entering its 18th year, and with the motto of “We’ll never leave you stumped!” Due to various injuries I suffered from the heavy and hard work with Main Branch, I realized that I needed to replace myself with younger employees, which I did, and in the meantime I went and obtained my real estate license.
My real estate career began three years ago when I got on with Tessie and Tony Martone at Keller Williams Real Estate Services, and I am happy every day with that decision! I love what I do and love selling and finding homes for people! “I’m not happy ’til you are!”
